ATAGs Economiser range has won the title of Europe's most efficient boiler. Some years ago, ATAG’s design engineers realised there was untapped residual heat left in the waste flue gases when the boiler was being used for hot water. So they set upon harnessing the wasted energy and the ATAG Economiser was born. It works by capturing waste energy from the flue gases and uses it to pre-heat the mains water to improve hot water production efficiency, saving both heat and money in the process. At the heart of every ATAG boiler is the ATAG iCon heat exchanger. Made from high grade stainless steel it uniquely retains 98% of its efficiency throughout its life time.
If You've received a quote from us, you'll probably notice the ATAG boiler offered will be lower in KW rating than other manufacturers, i.e. ATAGs boiler will be a 27kw where as the others offered may be 30kw. This is simply because the ATAG is more efficient, meaning it does more with less. It can perform like a 30kw boiler, despite being 10% smaller in output, saving you money on energy.
